Tis the season to be thankful and Find JOY and find what matters most
"If life and its rushed pace and many stresses have made it difficult for you to feel like rejoicing, then perhaps now is a good time to refocus on what matters most."
What does really matter most? what can we do so that life has more joy and meaning?
"Brothers and sisters, diligently doing the things that matter most will lead us to the Savior of the world. That is why “we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, … that [we] may know to what source [we] may look for a remission of [our] sins.” In the complexity, confusion, and rush of modern living, this is the “more excellent way" Dieter F Uchdorf
How can we live a more excellent way?
"Brothers and sisters, let us be wise. Let us turn to the pure doctrinal waters of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us joyfully partake of them in their simplicity and plainness. The heavens are open again. The gospel of Jesus Christ is on earth once more, and its simple truths are a plentiful source of joy!"
"Let us simplify our lives a little. Let us make the changes necessary to refocus our lives on the sublime beauty of the simple, humble path of Christian discipleship—the path that leads always toward a life of meaning, gladness, and peace. " Dieter F Uchtdorf
I know that as we do focus on what matters most and reach for the best instead of just good we will find the that our savior Jesus Christ and his gospel is what will bring us the most peace and joy possible. I have found that as I focus on the savior and his simple teachings and make them top priority in my life that stresses flee me, I feel more love from my Heavenly Father and life just runs so much smoother.

The Love from our Savior
The power of the atonement is real. Our Savior Jesus Christ has given the most precious gift anyone can give and that is the atonement. Sadly enough many don't even really know what this is. The atonement is the event that enables us to be reconciled to god. To atone is to suffer the penalty for sin, thereby removing the effects of sin from repentant sinners. Jesus Christ was the only one capable of making a perfect Atonement for all man kind. His Atonement included His suffering for our sins, the shedding of His blood and His death and Resurrection. Because of the Atonement, everyone who has lived will be resurrected. The Atonement also provides us with a way to be forgiven of our sins and to live forever with god. Jesus Christ suffered all that mankind has ever suffered and knows all that we have ever felt. To fully receive of this gift all that he asks is for us to have faith in him, repent, be baptized, receive the holy ghost and follow his teachings. I recently saw the realization of this powerful gift affect some one's life. We were teaching a great young lady about the atonement and she has been feeling so much guilt and shame from her past. As she came to realize how much Jesus Christ really is there for her she began to cry and she said that she now feels it in her heart and that she felt filled. She felt the love from God of being forgiven. I know that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world sent to redeem me and all mankind so that we may return to live with our Heavenly Father in his love and care.

My purpose
My mission is to help bring the world HIS truth. The truth being that Christ's church has been re-established and restored to the earth! How wonderful it is to know this and be able to share it, so that anyone can enjoy the blessings that our heavenly father and Savior, Jesus Christ, want us to have. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints is truly his church just as he established it on the earth when he was here. Anyone can come to know these truths for themselves and come to know of many more truths that have been restored as well, to find out more truth restored check out mormon.org !
